Understanding the legalities and ethical issues that confront EMT's is a critical area of importance. Before practicing as an EMT, students need to consider how Canadian and Alberta legislation affects patient care. In this Module, the learner will have an opportunity to relate legal and ethics issues to the future practice in EMS.
