The focus of this course is on all aspects of English pronunciation: sounds, stress, intonation and rhythm. Students will gain valuable pronunciation tools and strategies to improve spoken English. By the end of this course, students will be able to communicate more effectively in an English speaking environment by practicing intonation and rhythm patterns, word and sentence stress, and learning why it’s important to pause and slow down when communicating to ensure accurate comprehension.
