This nursing course examines evidence informed pediatric nursing care. The learner builds upon previous nursing knowledge and related theory in adapting the nursing approach and communication strategies required for safe, high-quality nursing care and health promotion of the pediatric client. Trends and issues in the care of pediatric clients and their families will be explored. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all first year courses Co-requisite: PN 202
