Focus in the on the basic concepts of the nursing profession and discipline: nursing, person, health, and environment. These concepts will be explored within the context of primary health care and changing perspective of health and how this evolution has impacted the development of the profession of nursing. The philosophical, theoretical, historical, ethical and legal underpinnings of professional practice will be examined. Co-requisites: NURS 113 and NURS 105
