The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is an educational program that introduces the concepts and skills of neonatal resuscitation. In Canada, NRP is administered by the Canadian Paediatric Society and is designed to teach individuals and teams who may be required to resuscitate newborn babies. NRP course content is evidence-based and is delivered across Canada in both English and French. Completion of an NRP course does not mean that an individual is competent to perform neonatal resuscitation. Competency: The NRP is an educational program designed to teach individuals and teams who may be required to resuscitate newborn babies. Completion of an NRP course does not mean that an individual is competent to perform the skills of neonatal resuscitation To maintain current status, Providers need to attend a Provider course within 24 months of the previous NRP course. This course requires a textbook and can be purchased at Keyano College Bookstore.
