BUS 233/Lecture/A - Management Accounting I | Credits 3.00
Students are provided with a knowledge of the fundamentals of cost accounting methods and procedures. Initially, students learn cost concepts, the cost accounting cycle, cost terminology and cost behaviour. Next, students focus on job and process costing systems. Other topics may include cost allocation, operation and activity-based costing, standard costs and variance analysis. Prerequisite: BUS 131 **Until the last day to add classes, registration does not guarantee a seat in this class. Priority will be given to students in the second year of the Business Diploma Program. Students in alternate programs may be removed from the course registration if the class is oversubscribed.**
