This course explores various ways to support students with severe emotional/ behavioural challenges in the classroom. Techniques that foster positive behaviour change and strategies that prevent challenging behaviour will be applied through the creation of behaviour support and crisis management plans. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the EA certificate program OR if you are employed in the early learning child care field a letter from your employer on a company letterhead indicating you work with children ages birth to school age.
