This skills based course focuses on comprehensive first aid and CPR techniques for those who need a higher level of training to work and respond to emergencies in isolated or wilderness settings. An emphasis will be on advanced strategies for providing extended care for more than 24 hours. To reflect our northern environment, a portion of the course will be delivered in an outdoor setting, which will require enhanced physical activity and endurance of the students.
