The study of child development from infancy to adolescence is fundamental to supporting the whole child. Emphasis is on development from middle childhood to adolescence in the areas of physical, cognitive, and social/emotional development. The exploration of inclusion and exceptionalities equips educators with the tools to meet the needs of all children in their care.
