This programming course emphasizes the importance of providing curriculum that demonstrates the four goals of Anti-Bias Education. Students are encouraged to recognize their own social and economic biases, and critically examine their program for evidence of human diversity, and develop strategies to promote self-awareness, confidence, family pride and positive social identities. Students will be involved in an action project to implement change in practice. Prerequisite: ELCC Certificate or equivalent NOTE: Not available to students with credit in ELCC 308.
