This course provides students with knowledge and skills in maternity, pediatric, public health, and family-centered care in Canadian healthcare settings. Students will learn about reproductive health, maternal and neonatal care, pediatric developmental milestones, immunization schedules, and public health policies. The course also emphasizes the importance of family-centered care and effective communication with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams across different contexts. Upon completion, nurses will be better equipped to provide compassionate, holistic care to women, children, and families.
