This studio based course will emphasize graphic imagery and drawing systems. Concepts will be integrated with technique using the printmaking processes of mono print, incised images of dry-point, engraving, etching, linocut, and collograph in order to explore the formal art elements of pictorial arrangement; line/linear composition, value; shapes and patterns, texture, weight and balance, volume with illusion of depth.
